Our nurses and carers specialise in delivering care for people living with complex neurodegenerative conditions, including Motor Neurone Disease (MND/ALS), Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, and multiple system atrophy. We also provide comprehensive support for individuals living with glioblastoma (GBM), acquired brain injury, and spinal cord injuries.
Our primary area of expertise is care provision for:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (High Intensity)
Our support workers and enrolled nurses are trained to provide all aspects of High Intensity Care. Training is overseen by Clinical Nurse Specialists and includes comprehensive online and face-to-face components covering:
- Ventilator management (including non-invasive ventilation)
- Catheter management
- Enteral feeding management (PEG feeding)
- Severe dysphagia management
- Bowel management
- Subcutaneous injections
- Complex wound management
All care is overseen by a Registered Nurse, and our staff are supported by an on-call Registered Nurse 24/7.
We also offer the following services to all NDIS participants:
- Assistance with activities of self-care
- Community participation
- Community nursing
- Supported Independent Living (SIL)
